Day Training

Day Training Benefits

We know you are busy, we also know you would like to have a Well Behaved Dog, that is why we do the training for you!

We train where you need your dog to behave, you do not have to be there, we will transfer the training to you during our transfer sessions.  Because we train for you it is proven you get faster and real results!

Examples of how Day Training can help you and make for a nicer, calmer, and stress free household:

Do you have a dog that drags you down the street?  Do you envision being able to happily and easily walk your dog?

Do you have a dog who door rushes and bolts out the door and doesn't come when called?  Do you envision a dog that can hold a sit/stay at the door and not bolt through?  A dog that comes when called?

Do you have a dog that goes nuts when the door bell rings or someone knocks, then once guests come in they are greeted by jumping dogs?  Do you envision a dog that can go to it's place and hold it until released, then once released keep 4 feet on the floor?

Do you have physical limitations that make training your puppy/dog frustrating, too hard, or impossible?  Or perhaps you want to have a well behaved dog, but do not want to take the time, effort, or have the patience to make it happen?

Are you considering sending your Dog off to a Board and Train Program or a Doggy Boot Camp (beware as many use shock collars to get those fast results!)?  Day Training, having us come to you, is a positive and stressless alternative.  Trained where you need the training and where your dog will be most relaxed.

Day Training is "perfect" for the Client who wants to have their puppy/dog "trained for them". We train your puppy/dog for you (with or with out you present, your choice), using positive solutions/methods, then show you how to apply the training during our weekly transfer sessions.

"Great for Clients who do not necessarily want to become a Dog Trainer in their own home, but want a well trained dog they can enjoy and love".

Day Training includes each week one Owner Transfer Session (required) where we show you how to apply the training with your puppy/dog. This is so very important so that after training is over and we are no longer training for you, the training will continue to work.  Once the program is wrapped up there are 2 follow up sessions with you to work continue to transfer the training to you.

Examples of what may be covered:  Jumping, Puppy Play Biting, House Training, Leash Pulling, Loose Leash Walking, Basic Training Cues Verbal & Hand Signals (Sit, Down from a Sit and Stand, Sit Stay, Down Stay, Puppy Push Ups, Recalls, Emergency Recalls, Heel/Attention Walking, Barking), Increasing focus with distractions, Impulse Control, Calm Behavior, Tricks,  Leadership Skills, Demand Behavior, Demand Barking, Management, Supervising setting up Inside the house and/or yard for puppy/dog for proper management, working towards preparing to become a Pet Therapy Dog (example: Delta &/or Lend-a-Heart), Clicker Use, Shaping Behavior, Agility for Fun, Nosework for Fun, and More.  Some Behavior Issues Examples:  Fear Issues, Separation Issues, Handling Issues, Reactivity.

Training Solutions/Methods:  We offer "Positive Methods" only.  Promoting humane and fun training methods (no choke chains, no prong collars, no shock collars, no corrections) allow us the opportunity to create lasting bonds and quality relationships between Clients and their puppy/dog.  If you are looking for your puppy/dog to be part of your family we are the Trainer for you (however, if you want a back yard/outside dog & are not willing to change we are not the Trainer for you....please understand dogs are pack animals by nature and want to be 'with' you/their family, being left outside <over 50% + of the time> can lead to problem behavior <barking, digging, running fence aggression, & destruction to name a few> due to boredom and lack of human contact). If you have the goal in place to get your puppy/dog from the back yard inside your house with your family, we are the trainer for you.

Example of a Day Training Program:  First step is the Initial Consultation to agree upon your goals and how long it will take to get there (this first lesson is $130.00).  At the end of the Consultation a Training Package would be created for those interested in going forward with Day Training ~ Example:  3 days a week + 1 transfer session a week for 4 weeks + 2 Follow Up Sessions (total for entire package, including Consultation & 2 Follow Up Sessions, in this example would be: $1,660.00).  *Additional Travel Fee would apply for areas outside of our local travel range.  Payment in full is due for the package by check, cash, or Pay Pal (Pay Pal Account or Credit Card).  Lesson Dates and Transfer Sessions are scheduled at that time.  We have a very limited number of these we offer per week due to our availability, once the dates are set, they are yours/not transferable or refundable.
