PuppyPrimer Classes are held on Saturday mornings at 10:00am. The facility is open at 9:45am for first time attendees to acclimate to the facility before all the other puppies arrive. It is highly recommended that you take advantage of this period of time. Puppies must be under 12 weeks of age at the time of their first class. In addition to the class application and proof of vaccine, you will need to read, initial and sign the Rules of the Facility before your first class. Reservations are required.  One Adult Owner required minimum per Puppy.

The Puppy Primer Socialization Class offers the owners of young puppies a jump start on growing the puppy they want to live with. With its primary focus on socialization, puppies will be exposed to a variety of experiences to help them develop into well-adjusted, friendly, and safe dogs. Common problems encountered with young puppies will be discussed and written material will be provided. 

The Puppy Primer Class is held on a four week, rotating schedule, so you never have to wait for a class to start. You can begin on any week and then attend four consecutive classes. The class runs for 45 minutes each week for four weeks. Puppies are under 12 weeks of age at the start of their first class and must have had at least one vaccination given after 7 weeks of age.  Puppies must have been in your home more than 10 days.

The Right Steps Training Facility is an indoor facility, with an indoor potty place and a solid rubber floor. The facility is fully cleaned and disinfected to ensure a safe experience for your puppy. The facility is located at 6247 Main Ave in Orangevale, just north of Greenback on the west side of Main Ave.

Application must have veterinary stamp or signature and vaccine documentation must be attached. For the safety of all puppies, there are no exceptions! Owners must initial and sign the Rules of the Facility and bring that form with them to the first class. “Owners and puppies without required documentation will not be allowed entrance into the training facility or class”.
