"Private Lesson Options '&' Benefits"

Initial Private Lesson Consultation: Think of this as a fact finding appointment. We ask questions that will assist us in setting up the perfect training plan. This time allows us the opportunity to observe your family and your puppy/dog interactions. From there we can set up a "specialized program for you and your family"! Depending on your family's goals and puppy/dog's needs future lessons may range from 1 or 2 for easy issues, or multiple lessons for more difficult issues (more complicated behavior issues) as our goal is to set you up for success! Required for all new Clients (people/puppy/dog).

Private Lessons offer Clients the 'convenience' to Train their puppies/dogs In Home, Off-Site (real life locations), or at our Indoor Training Facility in Orangevale. Enjoy 100% of your Trainer's focus on you and your puppy/dog's needs. "Great for Clients who want to be part of their puppy/dog's training"!

Day Training: In Home Convenience Training is "perfect" for the Client who wants to have their puppy/dog "trained for them". We train your puppy/dog for you (with or with out you present ~ your choice), then show you how to apply the training. "Great for Clients who do not necessarily want to become a Dog Trainer in their own home, but want a well trained dog they can enjoy and love".

Thinking of getting a New Puppy/Dog Initial Consultation: Do your homework first before choosing your new best friend, so you have the best chance of picking the right match. Puppy? Dog? What Breed Group? Male? Female? Purebred? Mixed? Breeder? Rescue or Shelter? Your activity level? Children? Other Pets? Is your house and yard prepared to bring home your new friend? Do you know what supplies you need? This is a great lesson that may save you a lot of money and heartache if instead you jump in with your heart and pick the first cute puppy or dog you see versus thinking it out first in detail. Our goal is to help you set your family up for success, help you prepare to make the process fun!

Phone Consultation: Limited on time? Have an issue that may be solved with a quick phone consultation with a Professional? 30 minutes of your time. Examples of problem areas great for phone consultations: House Training, Jumping, Puppy Play Biting, Management.

Examples of what may be covered: Jumping, Puppy Play Biting, House Training, Leash Pulling, Loose Leash Walking, Basic Training Cues Verbal & Hand Signals (Sit, Down from a Sit and Stand, Sit Stay, Down Stay, Puppy Push Ups, Recalls, Emergency Recalls, Heel/Attention Walking, Barking), Increasing focus with distractions, Impulse Control, Calm Behavior, Tricks, Leadership Skills, Demand Behavior, Demand Barking, Management, Setting up Inside the house and/or yard for new puppy/dog arriving to a new home, Preparing to become a Pet Therapy Dog (example: Delta &/or Lend-a-Heart), Assistance in picking the right new puppy/dog for your family, Supplies, Nutrition, Exercise Needs, Equipment, Clicker Use, Shaping Behavior, Agility for Fun, and More. Some Behavior Issues Examples: Separation Issues, Handling Issues, Reactivity.

Training Methods: We offer "Positive Training Methods" only. Promoting humane and fun training methods allow us the opportunity to create lasting bonds and quality relationships between Clients and their puppy/dog. If you are looking for your puppy/dog to be part of your family we are the Trainer for you (however, if you want a back yard/outside dog & are not willing to change we are not the Trainer for you....please understand dogs are pack animals by nature and want to be 'with' you/their family, being left outside <over 50% + of the time> can lead to problem behavior <barking, digging, running fence aggression, & destruction to name a few> due to boredom and lack of human contact).

Initial Consultation: $150.00 ~ 1 hour to 1.5 hours.

Private Lessons Follow Up Lessons: $100.00 ~ 1 hour.

Day Training (In-Home Convenience Training): $100.00 ~ 1 hour.

Discount Packages: May be available based on Client's Individual needs (number of lessons signing up for at time of Initial Consultation).

Behavior Issues Follow Up Lessons: $125.00 ~ 1 hour to 1.5 hours.

Phone Consultations: $50.00 ~ 30 minutes maximum.

Days and Times Offered: Tues. & Thurs. by appointment. Mornings, Afternoons, and occasionally an early Evening option.

Payment Options: Check (by mail or drop off), Pay Pal, or, Cash (drop off in person) due in advance to hold appointment time/space.

*Additional Travel Fees: A $30.00 travel fee (to cover our additional travel time and gas) will be added to the hourly lesson fee for areas further than 20 minutes travel time (each way) from Fair Oaks. To avoid travel fee lessons may be located at our Orangevale Inside Training Facility or Offsite within our travel range.
