"In - Home Convenient Training:"

Do you lack the time to properly train your dog?  Have you considered a Board and Train Program? Now there is a more convenient and less expensive alternative! We offer "Convenience Training" brought to you and your Dog in your own home! 

We come to your home and work with your dog in your absence.  You pick the number of days per week, between one and four, and we come work your dog for 30 to 45 minutes per session.  Owner instruction is provided so you can easily keep up with your dog’s training program. 

Benefits: Saves you time, saves money, creates consistency and a strong foundation to begin your dog’s training, and helps with boredom issues in your absence!

Services Offered:

Puppies and Dogs of Any Age and Any Size Breed:

Basic Obedience (Sit, Down, Come, Stay, Heel, Eye Contact, hand signals & verbal Cues), Advanced Obedience (increase distance and consistency with distractions), Leash Walking Skills (not pulling), Not Jumping, Door Manners (wait at door ways until released), Good Manners, Tricks, and More.

Supplies Required:

For Dogs that are Leash Pullers:

A purchase of a Sense-Ible Harness or Gentle Leader Head Halter may be required. See anti - pull devices link. We sell the Sense-Ible Harnesses and include a fitting &/or Gentle Leader Head Halters can be purchased at Pet Supply Stores or online.

Leashes:

Leather Leashes (1/2 inch to 3/4 inch in width, and approximately 5 to 6 feet long) are encouraged. 

Rewards pre-ready are required to ensure maximum training time:

Treats and toys to motivate.  A list of examples will be provided prior to the lessons.

Prohibited Items for Training:

No choke chains, prong collars, shock collars, or retractable leashes/flexi-leads will be used.

Fees:

Fees: Are based on location, please call with your physical address for exact price quote.

Initial Visit: 30 to 45 minutes maximum, Owner participation is required to make dog introductions, home introduction, discuss goals, complete paperwork, make payment, etc.  Visit fee applies in full.

*Please note: Basic Rate of $45.00 is for one way travel time 10 minutes maximum from Fair Oaks, for travel time over 10 minutes the *service fee will be adjusted based on address location/distance (see below for estimates).

Days and Times Offered: Tues., Wed., & Thurs. by appointment.  Mornings and Afternoons by appointment.

Visit Options Per Week: 1, 2, or 3 visits per week.

Visit Length: 30 to 45 minutes approximately maximum.

Payment in full is due prior to service: Payment may be made weekly or monthly and is due in full prior to the first visit of that week's lesson (cash, check, or pay pal).

Exclusions: No Leash Reactive or Aggressive Dogs. ~ See Referrals Link.

*Citrus Heights & *American River Canyon Area (Folsom/border Orangevale): $55.00 per visit

*Carmichael: $65.00 per visit

*Folsom: $80.00 - $85.00 per visit (depending on Folsom Location)

*El Dorado Hills and Granite Bay: $105.00 per visit

*Lincoln: $105.00 per visit

Owner Instruction:

Options: Based on numbers of visits per week.

Once a week: Owner may sit in on one lesson per month for instruction.

Two or Three times a week: Owner may sit in on one lesson bi-weekly.

Three times a week: Owner may sit in on one lesson per week.

Important: Please note owner participation is "highly" encouraged at these times to build consistency between Dog, Trainer, and Family!

Please Note:  Owner participation/instruction is only as stated above for this special program, as these are not Private Lessons, the fee is much less.  These lessons are structured for the owners who do not have the time or want to train their puppies or dogs.  For owners wanting to have a more hands on approach with each lesson and be part of each lesson, then Private Lessons are the way to go as these are structured for 100% owner participation.
